Keeping your Nordic Sauna in top condition is easy. With regular cleaning and simple maintenance after each use, you’ll ensure it continues to perform at its best. We recommend always using a towel on the bench and floor and always remove sweat from timbers after each session.

After each session, wipe down the interior surfaces to prevent residue buildup. We recommend using a damp cloth ( no chemicals). Clean the glass doors and control panel every 1–2 weeks.

PREMIUM ALUMINIUM

The external aluminium cladding is low maintenance and does not require any oiling or ongoing treatments like traditional timber finishes. To keep it looking its best, simply wipe it down periodically with a soft cloth and mild soapy water to remove dust, dirt, or environmental residue. If using a pressure cleaner, ensure you keep a safe distance and avoid high-pressure contact directly on the surface, as this can damage the powder-coated finish.

All silicon works needs to be checked regularly and redone when required.

The sauna must be installed in a well-drained area and should not be placed in locations prone to flooding or water pooling. It is essential that the unit sits on a stable, level base positioned away from ground moisture.

A concrete slab or properly constructed deck is ideal. If installing on pavers, ensure the ground is well compacted, a suitable moisture barrier is in place, and the surface is level and secure.

The sauna must not be installed directly on grass, soil, mud, or any unprepared surface.

Compared to others this sauna does not need to be covered to keep it dry. It does not need to be installed under a roof. It does not have cheaper hemlock or inferior timbers on the insider or inferior thin panels of pine/thermo-wood/spruce exteriors.

Saunas are actually very low maintenance.

To keep your sauna looking brand new we always recommend to lay a towel down on the bench and floor when using the sauna to soak up your sweat.

Once you have finished your sauna simply give the sauna a wipe down with a medium damp cloth/towel to avoid any leftover unsightly sweat stains if left uncleaned.

We also highly recommend to NOT use cleaning products. Mahogany has a beautiful smell and the smell from chemical cleaning products can last in the fibers of the mahogany for a long time. Plus we have gone to a lot of effort to keep these saunas toxic free for a reason.

The exterior of the sauna is made from UV and Weather resistant aluminium. This means very low Maintenance. If the sauna starts to look dirty from dust/ dirt simply give the sauna a wipe down.

It is important to inspect any silicone joins regularly and re-apply if needed.
